In a first for a non-limited edition with the 62GS case design, it is crafted in 18K rose gold. The warm pink dial depicts a scene in which cherry blossoms are concealed by fallen snow, a rare phenomenon known as sakura-kakushi. This beautiful sight can be experienced in the early spring of the Tohoku region of northern Japan, which includes Iwate Prefecture, home of the Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi.
