Born amongst the stars Since its introduction in 1952, the Omega Constellation has been inspired by our relationship with time as it's informed by the precise movement of the stars. For this special model, that interstellar inspiration has been taken one step further, with the introduction of a spellbinding meteorite dial. The astonishing dial is formed from a genuine piece of the Muonionalusta meteorite, which fell to the earth in northern Scandinavia (west of the border between Sweden and Finland) in approximately one million years BCE, and was discovered by geologists in 1906. In preparation to be transformed into a unique watch dial, each piece of iron meteorite has been given a blue galvanic color treatment, and since the natural pattern within the meteorite is unique to each slice, no two dials are ever the same.
